Honorary Medical Director and Manager


Dr Lee-Tam Teo – MBBS (Malaya), MRCPCH (UK), FCICM

Dr Teo graduated from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, in 1998, receiving his book prize in Psychiatric Medicine. As part of his post-graduate training, he completed his Paediatric training with the Royal College of Physician and Child Health, United Kingdom, in 2003. Dr Teo received the Fellowship of The College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand in 2012 and completed his fellowship training in The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick

He is a senior staff specialist in Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at John Hunter Hospital. He has held various leadership positions throughout his career, including the former Paediatric Intensive Care Unit director at John Hunter Hospital. He currently holds the supervisor of training position for The College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Teo has been involved in several area health and statewide clinical improvement projects. He is the course director for the Paediatric Basic Critical Care education to junior medical doctors and nurses locally and internationally, especially in developing countries. In addition, he leads the Paediatric critical care outreach education program at the Northern Child Health Network, NSW, which actively supports nurses and doctors in regional and rural areas to care for sick children.  To recognise his work in rural and regional areas, he has been invited to co-chair a Model of Care for the management of a child requiring high acuity care outside of a children’s hospital, under the Agency of Clinical Innovation (ACI, NSW).

Dr Teo received his former leadership training via the Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC) Executive Clinical Leadership Program. He believes in modelling, facilitating, and purposefully influencing positive emotions that encourage team members to excel. His positive leadership promotes an empowering environment through communication, accountability, motivation, and a model-worthy work ethic.

He and his team believe that the best health care can be achieved via collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.

Front Desk Manager

Crystal Ke

Crystal graduated from the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies with a BA degree in China. After graduation, she built up years of administrative management experience in the human resources headquarters of a multinational Fortune Global 500 company. Before joining Pymble Dermatology in 2021, she accumulated over five years of medical administration experience in general practitioner and specialist practices.

Crystal prides herself on providing friendly, warm, and empathetic service to all patients. With a wealth of experience in the medical secretariat, Crystal can facilitate effective communication between patients, primary healthcare team members, secondary care, and other associated healthcare agencies. Crystal is a role model to the reception team, supporting, motivating, and promoting staff relations. Her professionalism aligns with the visions and missions of Pymble Dermatology.

Nursing Manager

Lady Nikka

Nikka has many years of nursing experience from overseas. She previously worked in a public hospital, rotating through different areas of health care services, such as the Emergency Department, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology. She was subsequently transferred to the Department of Education, where she worked as a public health Registered nurse.

Upon migrating to Australia, Nikka worked in a retina specialist clinic and a dementia-specific facility in Sydney before joining Pymble Dermatology. Nikka is highly regarded and capable. Her performance has consistently exceeded company standards within a short period. Her contributions have a tremendous positive impact and add value to Pymble Dermatology.

Despite being new to the management position, Nikka has demonstrated high-quality communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to supporting and developing the nursing staff. She is kind, empathetic, patient, and an active listener, and these skills help create a vibrant culture of teamwork and trust among the team members.
